Genius Mother Mary: A Sonic Retrospective of Mary Lou Williams

Over her six-decade career, Mary Lou Williams tirelessly persisted in a male dominated culture as a Black woman.  Her profound intellect and artistry countered any doubt and her music continues to supply generations with the rich nutrients from the depth of her ancestral vision. Through a thematic arc, we explore and uplift her full spectrum of work encompassing the sacred to the astrological, the commercial to the introspective.
